Treat-or-Trick
"Trick-or-treat!", kids called out; that was the regular thing you'd hear on the night of October 21, Halloween.
Mia (my friend), Maja (my sister), my dad and I strolled the sodden streets, for one reason: candy! Mia was a bumble-bee, my sister was Queen Cleopatra, and I was Arachne (the goddess of spiders). This was the "perfect" night to trick-or-treat, while rain pelted down on us we trudged through puddles of murky water, and while others moaned and groaned about the devil's weather.
Chilled to the bone we walked up to our second house, clearly over decorated. That house adorned with a ghoul draping on the walk-way, dead gamblers (skeletons playing poker), miner 49'er, ghost of their "relatives", and... well you get the idea. "Huh...?", Mia questioned.
