Today was our first day back at school from mid-Winter break.
Poem
Your ears ring,
to the sound of a, CLING! CLING!
It is time for you to wake,
but, you barely quake.
A kind hand touches your back,
you get forced up like a sack.
You had so much time to play,
now it is a school day.
The breakfast you eat,
not yet beat?
Your teeth get brushed,
now you are rushed.
Pack you bags,
The pack on your back only sags.
To school you go,
and now you know…
The first lesson is boring,
and at home you'll be snoring
The last lesson is a cheer,
at home you'll be prancing like a deer.
As time goes it'll be fine,
soon you will be in line…
Again.
I really like your poem and I can connect.
