Winter VS Summer

Cold. Freezing. Middle of the school-year. Boring. Stay indoors. Brr. That is what people think about Winter. But, why do people like Summer so much. This is what they would say: "Hey, do you like Winter or summer?" I'd say

"I hate Winter I love Summer"

"Why do you like Summer?"

"Umm, errr, uhhh. Oh, school is out and it is warmer and I go to Florida"

Let me finish your sentence,  …"and you hate school, you can play video-games all day, and you should have been going to Florida while its cold in Michigan," That would make more sense.  

     Anyway Winter is way more fun (I can actually explain my answer). My reasoning:

 In Winter you can walk on water - ice skate. All of those snow-sports are cool, too. Do you want to fly? Try going sledding, skiing, or snowboarding. I know some people that are obsessed with swimming. You can swim almost anywhere at any time of the year. But, snow-sports are unique: you can only do it during the Winter.

      If you go skiing, snowboarding, or sledding, then the views are much better. Such as: vistas on top of slopes, cross-country skiing through parks and so on. 

     Another thing is that a boat-load of major holidays are in the Winter season, I don't even need to explain what affects they have. Now, many kids don't like Winter because its the middle of school. So what! If there was no school then you wouldn't get a good job which means that your life would be… bad. 

     I think you get my point. The only reason people like Summer is because it is Summer-break.

The cold… we can get by.
