"Oh, my gosh this is taking so long!" I complained to my mom. My have been waiting for almost half an hour at the Old Faithful Lodge. "I can't wait to see the geyser erupt," my sister said in a squeaky voice - clearly too excited to speak normally. I have had enough! "That geyser is called Old Faithful. Let me tell you that waiting is getting really old and I am faithful that this old thing won't erupt anytime soon!", I said maybe a bit too sarcastically. My mom gave me a hard stare telling me to be good. Suddenly just to my surprise I heard a gurgling, and a sloshing. About 70-100 yards away I saw tiny splashes of water squirting out of the geyser. My previous attitude was forgotten I screamed with such joy, "Yes, it's erupting this is going to be awesome. The crowd leaned forward and held their breath when the bubbling stopped. And then the biggest 100 foot tall spout of water sprouted out of the geyser. The crowd cheered, and camera's popped out to capture the moment. That stream continued for 6 more minutes then slowly started to die off. I knew that I had my eye on that geyser.
